Cadetship
Cadetship is the most intensive formational stage of training towards officership.
Cadets are well supported throughout their formation journey by Eva Burrows College (EBC) staff in Officer Formation, Higher Education, Learning and Professional Development, Support Service, The Salvation Army LEARN, other education professionals.
Officer Formation staff provide clear direction to cadets around timing of delivery of each piece of learning over their cadetship. Every cadet also has a local placement officer (LPO) and individualised training officer (ITO) each giving the cadet highly personalised guidance, as required. Cadet Formation
Officer Formation content comprises of various kinds of learning and formation opportunities, the primary modes of delivery being short modules created by/for Officer Formation, Higher Education units delivered the Higher Education Stream (HES) of Eva Burrows College, through the University of Divinity, and practical field training at a corps placement. Other educational and formational experiences are also touched on below.
